Gast bei Informatik VII: Prof. Dr. Moshe Guelman, Technion, Haifa
10.11.2009Professor Guelman hält sich von Oktober 2009 bis Januar 2010 zu einem Forschungsaufenthalt über Picosatellitenformationen an der Universität Würzburg auf.
Daneben unterstützt er mit Vorlesungen zu "Space Dynamics" die Lehre in unserer Fakultät.
Gemeinsame Ziele sind die Ausarbeitung von Forschungsanträgen und gemeinsame Doktorandenprogramme.
Prof. Guelman ist Mitglied der International Academy of Astronautics.
Im Rahmen unseres Informatikkolloquiums stellt Prof. Guelman am 14. Dezember 2009 um 17:00 Uhr im Turing-Hörsaal seine Forschunsgebiete vor.
Fields of Interest
Mauricio Moshe Guelman is presently the Max and Lottie Dresher Professor at the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, and formerly Head of the Asher Space Research Institute, Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel, teaching and performing research in the fields of astrodynamics, electric propulsion, guidance and control of aerospace vehicles and responsible for the launch and operations of the Gurwin-Techsat micro-satellite. He was previously with Rafael, M.O.D., in different capacities in the general fields of aerospace systems guidance and control, responsible for the design and development of new aerospace systems. He was educated at the Facultad de Ingenieria de Montevideo, Uruguay, and received the Diplome d'Etudes Approfondies and the Docteur en Electronique degrees from the Faculte des Sciences, Universite de Paris, France. He is an elected member of the International Academy of Astronautics, member of the International Astronautical Federation committees in astrodynamics and space systems, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and the Israel Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
