Post-secondary Studies in the US
This talk is an introduction to post-secondary education in the US. It explains the types of educational institutions, educational philosophies, missions, and common types of degree programs.
Issues discussed range from college preparation to PhD studies and how to prepare for a career in Academia. Emphasis is on Computer Science and the needs of and requirements for non-US students.
