Dr Anna Krause is co-organizing the workshop "Neuro-Explicit AI and Expert-Informed Machine Learning for Engineering and Physical Sciences (ExML)" at ECMLPKDD 2023 in Torino, Italy. This workshop aims to bring together researchers at the intersection of machine learning, natural sciences and engineering and explore approaches that study the synergy between machine learning and existing knowledge in downstream applications.  Relevant topics include, but are not limited to Science-informed machine learning, modelling dynamical systems, symbolic regression, and novel solutions within scientific and engineering applications.
