Summary:
Atheel Redah studied Electrical Engineering and received his master degree in 2010 at the University of Kaiserslautern with specialization in Automation and Control (Automatisierungstechnik). His master thesis titled „Modelling and Development of a Magnetic Levitation System for Fault-Tolerance Demonstration of a Hard Real-Time Avionics” has been concluded at the German Aerospace Center - Institute of Space Systems (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt DLR - Institut für Raumfahrtsysteme) in Bremen where in the course of his thesis, a real-time controlled magnetic levitation system has been modeled, designed and developed at the institute. In the same year he has started his scientific and academic activities as a research assistant at the department of Aerospace Information Technology in the University of Würzburg and is currently working in various different projects. His research interests include designing and developing a Satellite Attitude, Maneuvering, and Docking Simulator System, Autonomous Satellite Rendezvous and Docking, Underactuated Control Systems, Fault-Tolerant Control Systems, Wireless Networked Control Systems.
