Poster Award at ACM SIGSPATIAL 2015
11/16/2015At ACM SIGSPATIAL 2015, Benedikt Budig presented the poster "There and Back Again: Using Fréchet-Distance Diagrams to Find Trajectory Turning Points", which was awarded "Best Poster Award Runners up".
The ACM International Conference on Advances in Geographic Information Systems (ACM SIGSPATIAL) took place in Seattle this year. There, Benedikt Budig presented the current state of his PhD project at the PhD Symposium Workshop as well as the paper "There and Back Again: Using Fréchet-Distance Diagrams to Find Trajectory Turning Points" [poster][pdf] at the Poster Reception. This Paper is joint work with Lukas Beckmann and Thomas van Dijk, as well as Johannes Schamel of the Geographic Institute in Würzburg and was awarded Best Poster Award Runners up.
