Nabil Alsabah

Nabil Alsabah is a Research Assistant at the Games Engineering Group. Concurrently, he is also Lead Consultant for Artificial Intelligence at msg systems. Previously, he worked for four years at Europe’s largest tech association Bitkom as Head of Artificial Intelligence as well as head of Bitkom’s flagship conference Big-Data.AI Summit which annually brought together thousands of AI professionals, decision-makers and researchers. In addition, Nabil served as guest lecturer at the Dahlem Center for Machine Learning and Robotics of Freie Universität Berlin. He is also member of the Department of Computing’s Industrial Liaison Board at Imperial College London. Nabil holds a PhD in psychology and a Master’s degree in computer science. He has completed research stays at Peking University, National University of Singapore, and Stanford University.

His research interests include:

• Artificial intelligence (agent-based modeling, NPC AI)
• Simulations of dynamic and complex situations
• Cognitive science modeling and theories of personality
