IGSTC Workshop 2024 in Chandigarh, India

Dr. Shatish Kumar and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Marco Pruckner orchestrated the Indo-German workshop, at the CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation in Chandigarh, India. This workshop, generously funded by the Indo-German Science & Technology Centre, delved into the crucial topic of “Computational Intelligence for Sustainable Energy and Mobility Systems: Advancing Efficiency and Environmental Impact,” a subject of utmost importance to the fields of computer science, energy systems, and transportation systems.

Dr. Shatish Kumar and Prof. Dr-Ing. Marco Pruckner orchestrated the Indo-German workshop, at the CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation in Chandigarh, India. This workshop, generously funded by the Indo-German Science & Technology Centre, delved into the crucial topic of “Computational Intelligence for Sustainable Energy and Mobility Systems: Advancing Efficiency and Environmental Impact,” a subject of utmost importance to the fields of computer science, energy systems, and transportation systems.

The workshop was a melting pot of diverse perspectives, with participants hailing from academia and industry and boasting a wide array of professional backgrounds in computer science, energy systems, and transportation systems. This diversity fostered engaging presentations, fruitful discussions, and promising exchanges of thoughts for future research projects.

On the German side, multiple colleagues from academia and industry joined the conference. In the academic world, researchers from the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, Goethe-Universität Frankfurt, and Technische Universität München participated. Industrial partners came from ENER-IQ GmbH, SEnerCon GmbH, Undiced GmbH and intobyte.

From our chair, Prof. Dr-Ing. Marco Pruckner and Daniel Bayer joined the workshop.
