Description

Hydronic balancing in heating systems ensures that the heat in the house is distributed evenly via the radiators. For this purpose, there are calculation schemes based on various parameters that often have to be estimated. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to improve the estimates using a feedback mechanism by iteratively comparing predicted and measured energy consumption and temperatures. The model is to be tested with simple simulations of heating systems in houses. If successful, the approach can help to significantly improve the energy balance of heating systems.
