Summary

Anselm Krainovic studied Mathematical Physics at the University of Würzburg and received his bachelor’s degree in 2018.  He is currently studying both Mathematics and Computer Science for his master’s degrees. From August 2015 to March 2018 he was engaged as a student assistant at the chair of Computer Science VIII. Since April 2018 he is working as a research assistant at the chair and is responsible for the DLR funded ATUS project since July 2018.

Besides administrative tasks, his work consisted mainly of the design and implementation of the Autonomous Planning System of ASAP and its integration into the SONATE nanosatellite. Further topics include the development of secure software for space applications, real time operating systems as well as FPGA programming for image processing. His research interests focus on the application of artificial intelligence and optimization techniques to onboard autonomy and satellite operations.
