Chantal Klier
Details:
Chantal completed a dual study program at Audi AG, with an apprenticeship as an automotive mechatronics technician and a Bachelor of Engineering in automotive engineering. From 2018, she worked at Audi as an engineer in concept development, where she was responsible for the technical feasibility of the design. In 2020, she moved to accident research, where she worked as a data analyst. At the same time, Chantal completed her master's degree in Human Factors at the TU Berlin and wrote her master's thesis on "Human-Agent Teams in VR and the Effects on Trust Calibration".
Since April 2024, she has been working as a research assistant for the EU-ESF+ project "Forum Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation" (Forum KidT) in the field of social robotics as part of her PhD.
Research Interests:
- Interactions with social robots and elderly
- Improving well-being of elderly through the use of social robots
- Long-term studies on the permanent use of social robots
- Technology acceptance of social robots in the field of elderly care
