Elisabeth Ganal


Details:

Elisabeth completed her Bachelor's degree in Media and Educational Management at the Pädagogische Hochschule Weingarten (PHW) and her Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Würzburg. Since July 2020 she is working as a research assistant at the Chair of Socially Interactive Agents (formerly professorship of Media Informatics) on topics like Context in Smart Environments. She was also part of the ESF-ZDEX project. From April 2019 until June 2020 she worked as a student worker at the HCI chair for the project ViLeArn.

Research Interests:

  • Contextual knowledge and recognition in intelligent environments
  • Social robots and intelligent virtual agents in social contexts
  • Socially adapted behaviour of robots
  • Virtual, augmented and mixed reality
