In the initial phase of the VaMEx3-MarsSymphony project, the team has made progress through the definition and detailed formulation of scenarios for Mars and test environments. Having successfully passed the Mission Definition Assessment, the team is now ready to further define the requirements for each element of the mission.

Last week we successfully updated the software of all four sensor heads making up the MultiView star sensor on SONATE-2 in orbit! This update improves the quality of the attitude data produced by the sensors.

SONATE-2 has successfully observed Hurricane Beryl from orbit. The 6U+ satellite was able to record a sequence of high-resolution images in the NIR range (763-801nm) during a pass over the hazardous hurricane.
