Course contents
The study “Computer Science and Sustainability” familiarizes the students with the most important branches in the context of computer science and teaches multidisciplinary expertises in the field of sustainability. The study focuses on the mindset, procedures, and methodology used in computer science along with the way of thinking required for the fields of sustainability, biology, and geography. Our main objective is to teach students various approaches for solving problems.
The main focus of the studies are besides computer science and sustainability lectures important contents and mathmatical contents and methods. In a specialized curriculum, students are able to choose between different focus areas
- IT for sustainability in one of the following areas: environment, climat, ecosystem
- Sustainability IT with main focus on energy efficient, secure, or reliable systems and networks
