Modules in English
The following courses, seminars, and practical courses are held in English as the lecture language. This is a subset of all modules offered by the Institute of Computer Science and contains modules from all study programmes. The Master programmes Computer Science and eXtended Articifical Intelligence (XtAI) can be fully studied in English. Please note that the exam language can be different from the lecture language, but if a module is taught in English the exam will also be offered in English. Please check the FAQ for further information.
For the sake of convenience some courses will default to German teaching language but will switch to English if requested by students. In the tables this is denoted as:
* if requested by at least one student,
** if requested by at least two students.
In any case, please contact the lecturer in advance of the lecture start so that they can prepare accordingly. We recommend doing this at least four weeks in advance. If you are unsure who the lecturer will be contact someone from the chair listed for the lecture. They will be able to forward your request.
