New Version of the World-in-Miniature VR Navigation Toolkit Now Available!

We are excited to announce the release of an updated version of the World-in-Miniature (WIM) VR Navigation Toolkit! This toolkit enhances virtual reality navigation by integrating advanced features for seamless travel within large-scale virtual environments.

The WIM is a navigation metaphor that provides users with a hand-held, miniature version of the virtual world, allowing them to easily move and interact with the environment by manipulating the scaled-down model.

The latest version builds on the research presented in "An Integrated Design of World-in-Miniature Navigation in Virtual Reality" by Samuel Truman and Sebastian von Mammen at FDG 2020. You can read the full paper here:  ACM Digital Library .
