Prof. Dr. Dorit Borrmann

Summary

Dorit Borrmann is professor of mobile robotics at the University of Applied SciencesWürzburg- Schweinfurt. Before, she was scientific coordinator of the graduate course “Satellite Technology” at the University of Würzburg from where she also holds a doctorate degree (Dr. rer. nat). She has several years of experience in laser scanning and 3D point cloud processing algorithm development for robotic applications. Her main research interests are 3D environment mapping and exploration. She participated in RoboCup, ELROB, ESA Pangaea-X campaigns, the ESA ESTEC/ESRIC Space Resources Challenge as well as the Daedalus OSIP and CDF studies conducted by ESA.
