Desription

In this project we investigated a novel approach for a position verification system in medical applications. By replacing the already existing
cross line laser projectors with galvo- or MEMS-based projectors and utilizing the surveillance cameras, a self-calibration of the system was performed. The system could then be utilized to aquire the patients body surface for positioning verification and track their breathing curve to maximize the efficiency of radiation therapy.
