- It is more difficult to keep the learning students actively involved in tele-education units
- The implementation of a good educational unit is orders of magnitude more time consuming than expected
- New software versions cause problems for earlier work
- Changes in the developer team lead to significant delays
- Before starting a tele-experiment, the experiment should have been used and tested in classes with local students
- If telepresence means are to be increased, at least WebCam images should allow the remote student to monitor the experiment status
